Matchmaking

Some time back I let a friend talk me into joining one of many social match making websites. Though I don't access it much, I did take a couple of minutes today to actually respond to all the questions... so here we go!

Not that I'm interested in matchmaking right now but some of these questions were quite interesting:

Who am I and what am I looking for?

On one occasion, a dear friend told me that I'm the kind of woman a man would present to his mother!

I am very sincere and as time has passed, I have formed amazing friendships , I am how I am... loud at times, I laugh at my own jokes, I care too much (sometimes), and at times can be a bit insecure.

Never ceasing to be myself, I can be the funniest girl to the most romantic and caring person.

As a woman, I have many flaws and virtues ... I offer my heart to those who want to enter (as long as you respect me)... I tend not to judge people or their decisions (but will always express my fears if I feel that something is not quite right). Tolerant to a certain level!

I love God above all things, I do have principles and values.

What good things have past relationships taught me?

We all make mistakes, it's just a matter of learning from them.

People will hurt us and we'll hurt them as well but that doesn't mean that there isn't someone out there for each of us.

To me, being a Christian means:

I don't define it as a religion but more of a relationship with God.

I can say that I've a christian since 1997 but in reality my walk with the Lord was more of a zig-zag than straight path.

Now, I've learned to continue in His path despite the trials or problems that may arise... I've learned to place my faith completely in Him and trust His purpose for my life.

How long have you been a Christian?

I was 13 when I first met Christ and I was in LOVE.

I made mistakes along the way and I can honestly say that it was a couple of years after my divorce that I truly gave my life to Christ.

What will I do and accomplish in the next five years?

Wow! I haven't really given this much of a thought therefore I'll be completely honest: I don't know. I just really want to live my life one day at a time. I've set my own goals before that for some reason felt right to me but in the end, the Lord made some drastic changes.

His path & purpose is perfect, I'll just live it one day at a time.

My favorite Bible passage and why:

Psalm 127... in simple words: Without God in our lives, we're simply nothing. It doesn't matter how much we work, if He's not the foundation of our lives, it's all done in vain.
